An operating standard, not a badge
A mark on its own proves nothing. A vehicle is released as family ready only when every clause below is met, and each clause leaves a record the operator can read back.
The six clauses
Requirement, evidence, verification and the defined response on failure.
The child-seat category is matched to the child details on the booking before the arrival window, not at the counter.

- Checked when the booking is matched to a physical unit.
- If it cannot be met
- The correct category is secured and the booking is re-matched before arrival.
What it does not cover
- Use of the seat after the vehicle leaves the station
- Adjustments made by the family during the rental
- Vehicle condition and maintenance, which remain with the operator
- Bookings where child details were not provided in time to match a category
When a clause cannot be met
The vehicle is not released as family ready. The operator is told which clause failed and why, and the replacement process is used where a unit is involved.
FMH Assured is not issued, audited or recognised by an external body, and no performance figures are published for it. It can be reviewed clause by clause during an assessment.
